The average price of a house in the UK increases again. House prices range from £231,000 for a Terrace all the way up to £406,000 for a Detached property. The average cost currently stands at £290,000.
With prices being so high, it is becoming increasingly more difficult for individuals to join the property ladder, with higher deposits being required to secure a mortgage.
Local Councils are being urged to regenerate vacant run down properties to help the housing crisis and to make these more affordable.
It is expected, house prices across the UK will continue to rise. Areas such as London and the Southeast of England will see the largest increases.
