The announcement every Motor enthusiast has been waiting for has now happened. The new team for the revised motoring show ‘Top Gear’.
The Top Gear presenters, headed by Chris Evans include the famous Friends actor Matt LeBlanc and the charismatic F1 previous team owner, Eddie Jordan, who is excited by the prospect of working with his fellow presenters but cautious about the dangers involved.
The remaining team members include the motoring journalist Rory Reid. German female racing driver Sabine Schmitz and Youtube star Chris Harris.
This is the first news regarding the show since the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May early in 2015.
There was no surprise Chris Evans accepted the chance to head the new top gear team, owning a number of performance cars in the past, including Ferrari’s. Chris Evans has already mentioned filming for the new show is under way, with the first scheduled airing due in May. Chris Evans hopes he will be able to make the show bigger than it has ever been and even mentioned a Top Gear theme park could happen!
The Dunsford racetrack in Surrey will continue to be the home of vehicle reviews and other segments of the show.
The previous Top Gear stars are busy working on their new shows on Amazon Prime.
